Ecology Caucus

Chris Fici (clf2138@columbia.edu)

The Ecology Caucus practices the art of theological reflection in a diversity of mundane media such as growing food, preparing and eating meals, picking up garbage, talking walks, preferring low-impact transit, and listening to other humans.

Last year we organized an alternative energy discussion forum in campus, shared meals as the Stone Soup lunch group, helped begin the Edible Churchyard initiative which will grow food here at Union, brought our own plates and utensils to community lunch, encouraged the reinstatement of eco-theological curricula, documented wasteful resource practices on campus, and continued our covert direct action campaign against Union's efforts to poison, trap or otherwise threaten the lives of our friends, the animals.
