Welcome to Facilities at Union Theological Seminary!
Union's Gothic Revival architecture matches the Seminary's impressive theological heritage. In 1910, the Seminary campus, located in Morningside Heights on Broadway, was completed and the Seminary moved into its current location near Columbia University, Teacher's College, Jewish Theological Seminary, and Riverside Church. Students and faculty live on campus, so the Facilities department services everything from campus classrooms to personal dwellings, keeping the hundred-year-old buildings in top shape for generations of students to come.
For students living on campus, the Facilities office is available to assist with countless facilities-based needs. Our extensive staff of friendly engineers is available 24-hours/day to assist with everything from minor household repairs to major facilities-related emergencies. The types of services the Facilities department provides include the following:
- Window repair
- Plumbing repair
- Central air conditioner (Hastings)/radiator repair
- Hot water repair
- Elevator repair
- Stove/refrigerator repair
- Power outage repair
- Dorm room furniture requests
- Bug/pest elimination
You are here to study, learn, and perhaps find your calling. We are here to make your stay as pleasant as possible in this historic landmark–quite a challenge sometimes, but we love the place and hope that you will, too, in part because of us.
For any and all service requests, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 212-280-1300. You may also visit the Facilities office located in A39.
