Union Theological Seminary – March 15-17, 2013.

About the Initiative
The Young Democrats of America’s first-ever Faith and Values Initiative aims to make clear to young voters the deep connection between what the Democratic Party stands for and the values held by young people of faith in America. We believe that young Americans of faith are seeking out leaders who value opportunity for all, understand what it means to love our neighbor, and promote a shared responsibility for improving the lives of others. As the Republican Party embraces policies increasingly out of step with these values, we want to make sure young people know the common good principles at the heart of Democratic policy priorities.
The 2013 YDA Faith and Values Summit
The YDA Faith and Values Leadership Summit will take place at Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York starting Friday evening, March 15 through Sunday afternoon, March 17. Friday will begin with a welcome reception, followed on Saturday by speakers, group work, prayer and service to train and expand the reach of the Democratic faith and value agenda. On Saturday night, we will host a group dinner for everyone attending. Sunday will proceed with additional training and networking opportunities. A full schedule will be sent to all members accepted to attend.
Please note: Registration for Union, Columbia, and Barnard students is free. We kindly ask students who register from those schools to show their student ID's at check-in for the event.
