| | 2008 Marks Centennial of Union's Ground Breaking in Morningside HeightsOn November 17, 1908, nearly 75 years after its founding in 1836, Union Theological Seminary placed the cornerstone for its home at the corner of Broadway and 120th Street. As we near the centennial of that historic event, Union is launching a year-long celebration of one hundred ground breaking years in Morningside Heights. Throughout 2008, events will highlight the work and achievements of Union's faculty, students, and alumni/ae as they continue to break new ground. The new Timeline of Union history has also been launched as part of the celebration. Read the Centennial story.
