Admissions & Housing Deadlines

January 6
This is the deadline for submission of completed applications for the Ph.D. and S.T.M. programs.

February 15
This is the priority deadline for admission to all first degree programs (M.Div., M.A., and M.Div./M.S.S.W). Completed applications (including three letters of recommendation, official transcripts, and a personal statement) should be submitted by this date in order to receive priority consideration for admission and merit scholarships. Applications received after this date will only be eligible for need-based grants and loans.

Housing applications sent out to students who have made their deposit and received a place for the upcoming year.

June 1
This is the priority deadline for admission to Union housing. Completed applications should be submitted by this date to the Union Housing office.

June 30
This is the final deadline for admission to all first-degree programs and for admission to Union housing (if available). Completed applications for admission and housing forms must be submitted and completed by this date for degree enrollment for the following fall.

August 15
The deadline for admission as a non-degree student. Non-degree students receive no financial aid or housing, and they are not eligible for admission to degree programs during the current academic year of their non-degree year.



Financial Aid Deadlines

February 15
Completed federal financial aid applications should be filed with the processor by this date, for students applying for admissions to Union.

March 15
Processed federal aid applications and completed Union financial aid applications should be received by the Union Financial Aid Office by this date for priority consideration from students already in programs.

July 15
This is the final deadline for consideration of Union financial aid applications and processed federal applications. After this date, financial aid packages will consist solely of loans.
