Visiting Union
All applicants are encouraged to visit Union to get a feel for the Seminary's academic reputation, its spiritual life, and the Seminary community. A typical visit includes attending classes, a choice of worshiping with the community, lunch with students in the Refectory, and interviews with various seminary administrators.
Because we attempt to provide as wide an experience of the Seminary as possible, we do request that prospective applicants provide as much prior notice as possible, so that the visit is comprehensive and well structured.
The Coordinator for Seminary Visits would be happy to work with anyone wishing to visit Union. The coordinator can be contacted at 212-280-1556 or by email at visits@uts.columbia.edu. Applicants to the Doctoral and S.T.M. programs should first notify the Director of Admissions of their desire to visit before contacting the Coordinator for Seminary Visits.
